About the project
At Battercatch IMM, a deep-blue backdrop, underwater imagery and rope details bring a maritime identity into an open restaurant setting. Blue-and-white striped banquettes sit alongside warm timber tables and chairs, while illuminated display shelving adds depth. An overhead circular feature creates a clear focal point from the mall frontage. Perimeter booths and smaller freestanding tables offer different settings for casual meals and groups.
A reading of the space
Design approach
The visual language runs through colour, furniture and texture. Warm timber and amber lighting soften the cool blue envelope, while striped upholstery and rope accents connect the theme to the dining experience. Continuous perimeter seating and flexible small tables define comfortable pockets without closing off the frontage.
